Rotary Club of DeLand 25th Annual Charity Golf Classic
 
The Rotary Club of DeLand held its 25th Annual Charity Golf Classic at DeBary Golf and Country Club on Saturday April 27, 2019.  The 8:00 am Shotgun Start was preceded by a Fundraising Ball Drop wherein a parachutist glided over the Golf Course and released 300 golf balls.
 
Twenty-one teams participated in the tournament.  First Place went to one of the teams sponsored by United Parachute Technologies (Bob Booth, James Grady, John Hill Sr. and John Hill Jr.).  Second Place went to Mid Florida A/C (Justin Hall, Adam Douglas, Ryan Mulligan and Adam Bailey).  Third Place went to one of the AdventHealth Teams (Kollinger, Corradetti, Strand and Abbott).  Adam Bailey had the Longest Drive.  Dave Disney, “Rabbit,” and Shawn Grimes all received prizes for Closest to the Pin.
