ROTARY RUMMAGE ROUNDUP YEEHAW!!

To raise money for an international Rotary project, the Rotary Club of DeLand will hold its second rummage sale.  The “Rotary Rummage Roundup Yeehaw!!” will be December 9th from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a pre-sale on Friday, December 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There is a $5 admission for this pre-sale to get the first choice on the best items.
The Rotary Club of DeLand is collaborating on a Clean Water Project with Rotary Clubs in Canada, North Carolina and Roatan (an island off the coast of Honduras).  This multi-country effort will build wells on Roatan to provide a consistent source of fresh water for the remote fishing village of St. Elena.

Items “rounded up” for the sale include furniture, dishware, sporting goods, tools, toys, electrical appliances, musical instruments, etc.  Unsold items will be donated to The Neighborhood Center.  This is a Win-Win-Win situation:  astute shoppers can find all kinds of bargains at the Roundup; the villagers of St. Elena will have clean, fresh drinking water; and The Neighborhood Center will be able to use remaining items to benefit its clients.
Our Club’s goal is to raise $5,000.  We will see you there!
